When American teacher Marc Fogel is detained on August 14, 2021, and sentenced to fourteen years in a Russian prison camp, his family commits to work to bring him home and provide Marc with steady and unyielding love and support. As they launch a campaign to bring him back, the Fogels navigate a world of a family torn apart by distance, isolation, uncertainty, guilt, disappointment, and longing to be with Marc, who brought enthusiasm and sunshine to everyone in his large and extended family.
Did You Forget Mr. Fogel, is a short documentary made by former students of Marc Fogel, many of whom span the globe and have advocated for his release.
